The Archives contains early records relating to the establishment of Berea College; miscellaneous papers of Berea's founder, John G. Fee; official and unofficial papers of past presidents, board of trustees members, vice presidents, and deans; and general records relating to academic and administrative divisions, faculty and staff, students, campus organizations, and special programs. Records reflect Berea's early commitment to integrated education, to the education of Appalachians generally, and to the development of student labor programs.
